2012: Growing Healthy Hearts:Nutrition and Fitness for Newborns - Teens

@ the First Baptist Church, 2200 Diamond Drive
(light supper in the ROC followed @ 6 pm with the talk in the sanctuary)

• Marvel Harrison, PhD, Psychologist, Los Alamos
• Patty Willms, RD, CDE, Nutrition Instructor, UNM-LA
• Justin Black, BS, Physical Education Teacher, Los Alamos Public Schools

Each year (usually in February for Heart Month) we sponsor a different guest speaker in Los Alamos. These programs are free to the public, include hand-outs and up-to-date information on the topic at hand, and are usually made available as a DVD at the local library for those who miss this opportunity.
Seminars usually begin at 6 p.m. preceeded by a light supper at 5:15 p.m.
The date changes each year depending on the availability of the speaker, but the Los Alamos venue of the First Baptist Church at 2200 Diamond Drive has been the same for the last few years.
