Health Fair Info for Booth Participants

The Los Alamos Heart Council reserves the right
to screen participants.

Participants are expected to comply with the following general guidelines.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. Displays, exhibits and literature must be educational or informational.
2. Referrals for specific medical treatment are considered inappropriate at the Health Fair.
3. Products may not be sold at the Health Fair.

* It is permissible to distribute price lists and discount coupons for products or services to be sold off premises.
* It is permissible to demonstrate products or services on premises with prior written consent of the Health Fair Committee.
* It is permissible and encouraged to have giveaways and door prizes at your booth. And, to provide “hands-on” activities.

Each 8' by 10' booth includes:

  • 1 - 8' table 2 - chairs
  • 1 - back drop 1 - skirt for the table
  • 2 - side curtains 36" high 1 - ID sign, size 7" X 44" (maximum of 30 characters; words of your choice)

The Health Fair is an informational and educational event that:

* Identifies health resources and services in the community and surrounding area.
* Provides an opportunity for health screenings and self- assessment.
* Promotes health awareness and healthy decision making through activities and educational materials.

Participating agencies and individuals can benefit from the visibility and promotion that accompanies community involvement.
